

Ollis Relph, age 78, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Ollis was born April 13, 1943 to Ollis Brown Relph and Rosa L. Savage Relph in Sardis, AL. He baptized at Pine Flat Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Garrett. He graduated from Lowndes County Training School in Haneyvelle, AL. He then moved to Birmingham, AL. and attended Wenonal Trade School and graduated with a degree in Auto Mechanics. That same year, he joined the US Army for the next 20 plus years. After retiring from the Army, he opened his own auto mechanic business in Fort Worth, Texas. He later found a church home at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church where he became a deacon. He then retired once again and lived the rest of his days in Grand Prairie, Texas.
He leaves to cherish his memory; spouse, Jenna; daughter, Sylvanna Jordan, two brothers, Cleveland (Ruth) Relph of Holly, MI and Ernest L. (Lettie) Relph of Detroit, MI, one sister, Earnestine (Willie) Relph McCall of Montgomery, AL.; grandchildren, Allen Roberson, III, Joshua Spearman, Heather Dorsett and a lost of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Willie B. Relph, Lethorn Relph, Major Relph, Ben Relph, Georgia Mae Relph Hester and Nathan Durant.
A visitation for Ollis will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, 4000 Miller Avenue, Fort Worth, TX. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 4000 Miller Avenue, Fort Worth, TX. A burial will occur Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 1:15 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 76244.
