Patricia Ruth Roebuck went to be with the Lord on February 5th, 2025, following a 13-year journey with Alzheimer’s disease. She would have turned 92 next month. Born on March 20, 1933, in Kiowa, Oklahoma, Patricia was the youngest child of James Newton Lillard and Lilly Marie Blancett Lillard.
After her marriage to Al Roebuck in 1951, Patricia became a dedicated housewife, mother, and grandmother.
Pat’s hobbies included landscaping, and she was always known for having the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood. Traveling with her family was also something that brought her great joy and pleasure.
Patricia is survived by her three daughters, Brenda Oppert of Manhattan, Kansas, Saundra Adamiak of Ocala, Florida, and Tamara (Todd) Austin of Fort Worth. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Alfred O. Roebuck, her mother and father, and three brothers.
The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Patricia R. Roebuck’s life on Thursday, February 13th, 2025, at noon, to be held at the chapel at Laurel Land in south Fort Worth. The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
