Pete Gutierrez Jr.

Graveside Service: 10:30am Tuesday at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.

Visitation: 6-8pm at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel.

Pete was born on August 31, 1947 to Pedro D. Gutierrez and Sulema Lopez Gutierrez in Hondo, Texas. He was married to Santa Arcos Gutierrez for 46 years.

Pete Gutierrez served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. After that he worked for Zachary Construction Corp. for over 30 years. He retired in 2002. Pete loved his grandkids besides his wife and children, his grandkids were his whole world. There was hardly ever a time he wasn't doing stuff with them or buying things for them. He would always say "their only little once." In his spare time, he also enjoyed playing golf.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Eva Gutierrez Morin.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Santa Arcos Gutierrez; son, Pete Gutierrez III; daughter, Anna Marie Gutierrez; four grandsons, Pete IV, Diego, Bryce and Flynn Gutierrez; great granddaughter Ava Gutierrez, her mother, Allison; and daughter-in-laws, Rada and Cynthia Gutierrez. Pete will be greatly missed by his family and all his friends.
