Rikki Rice

Rikki Rice (81) took his heavenly eternal rest on Sunday December 1st. He is survived by his of wife of sixty years, Jennie Vaughan Rice of North Richland Hills; his daughters Susan Rice of North Richland Hills, Debbie Branscome (husband, Randall) of Keller; grandsons Shawn Stephens, Landon Stephens, Riley Branscome, Ryan Branscome; sister Cheryl Fleming of Billingham Washington.

Rikki was born on August 23rd in 1943, to parents Velt and Margorie Rice. He graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Engineering while working full time at Bell Helicopter, where he worked for more than forty years.

Rikki was an incredibly loving family man. He married Jennie Vaughan in 1965 and the couple had two children together, Debbie and Susan. He was an active man who was deeply involved at WestWind Church, serving in various leadership roles. He loved playing golf and spending time with family. He also had a heart for dogs.

A funeral is scheduled for Friday December 6th at 10am at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76148. Visitation will take place Thursday December 5th at Shannon Funeral Home from 6-8pm.
