Doug was the beloved son of the late Sue Darville and Ronnie Oakes. He is survived by his father, Kenneth Darville; his sister, Sheila Oakes Green and husband Greg; and his brothers, Ken Darville and wife Stacy and Kevin Darville and wife Ludy along with many nieces and nephews.
Doug's life began in Fort Worth, where he was born and raised and attended Western Hills High School. Throughout his years, he loved music and enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews in sports. He touched the lives of those around him with his presence. Doug will be remembered fondly by those who knew him.
