She was born in Roscoe, Texas on September 28, 1936. Ruby married Donald Cannon on October 28, 1955 in Loraine, Texas. Ruby was a homemaker. She had a passion for sewing and making quilts.
Ruby was so many things to many people: encouraging, dedicated, faithful and loving. Regardless, she was someone you can count on to lift you up, support you, and tell you what you needed to hear when it was needed the most. Ruby loved her family and she loved GOD!
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents: Bernice and Jessie Ferguson, her brother Larry Ferguson, her sister Shirley Ferguson, and her granddaughter Amy Cannon.
Ruby Cannon is survived by her husband Donald Cannon; her children Ronnie Cannon, Terry Cannon, Timmy Cannon, and Susie Vandever; her grandchildren Michael Cannon, Jeremy Cannon, Jessie Cannon, Justin Cannon, Jamie Cannon, Randy Vandever, Jonathon Vandever and a host of great and great great grandchildren.
