Rubyna Simmons (87) of Fort Worth, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family and loved ones. Rubyna was a gentle and soft-spoken woman who found joy in gardening and caring for her plants. She also loved taking care of and spoiling her grand kitties, Ninja and Armani. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and was known for her kindness and generosity. A devoted member of First Baptist Church of Fort Worth, she lived her life with quiet faith and compassion.
Those preceded her in death are her father Nathaniel Morrison, mother Claris Willow Morrison, brothers Ezekiel and Samuel Morrison.
She is survived by her son, Clarence Simmons Jr (wife Loretta); siblings Uriah (Roy) Stewart (wife Violetta), Esketh Morrison, and Elvira (Vicky) Morrison.
A graveside service for Rubyna will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Laurel Land Memorial Park - Fort Worth.
