Salvatore served for 26 years with the United States Air Force followed by a career in the United States Postal Service. He was a follower of Jesus, an avid golfer and photographer, and devoted to his family.
Salvatore was preceded in death by his parents Giuseppe and Frances Blandino, brother Ross Blandino, and sisters Angie Caliri, and Dorothy Blandino.
He is survived by his wife Merle, four children, Christopher and wife Ruth, Stephen and wife Karen, Nicolette, and Michael and wife Jessie, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
