Shirley was born April 23, 1933, in Anson. She was a longtime resident of Fort Worth. After her retirement from the Tarrant County Water District, she moved to Granbury.
She was preceded in death by her son, Royce Alan Wilbanks; and her husband of 33 years, Roy K. Wilbanks Jr.
Survivors: Daughters, Laurel McAfee and husband, Kirk, Mary Beth Kidd and husband, John, and Denise Wilbanks and partner, Cathy Wilbanks; grandchildren, Joel and Joy McAfee, Nathan, Nicholas and Madison Early; sisters, Judy Hume and Billie Buchanan and her husband, Walter; brother, Ralph Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
