

She was born to Clyde Thomas and Nancy Ann Jordan Street on April 23, 1954, in Livingston, Texas. He father was in the military before settling in the Beaumont area. Her mother passed when she was 12 years old. While her mother could never be replaced, Sue enjoyed a close relationship with her stepmother, Mildred Street. She attended Conroe High School.
She met her husband around 1998, and ten years later married him in August of 2008. Her family all felt she should have met him sooner. He was her blessing.
Family was always the biggest priority in her life. Her daughters, granddaughters, and husband were her life. She never had an enemy and believed in helping everyone she could. Many people considered her a mother figure as she gave the encouragement, advice, and love they needed. Her family would summarize her life as the eternal giver, giving to her children, her family, and anyone who needed a hand.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, and brother Calvin Street.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Hatfield; daughters: Misty Mitchell and her partner Frank Cano, and Kristi Knouss-Haucke and her husband Hunter Haucke; step-daughters: Landi Miller and her husband Michael Miller, and Sierra Slates; granddaughters: Allyssa and Sierra Mitchell, and Kylie Knouss; step-grandchildren: Levi, Cooper, and Landon Miller, and Samarah, Mika, and Arayah Slates; mother-in-law: Louise Jones; brothers: Joe Street and Ronnie Street; stepsister: Brenda Lankford; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
