Susan Carol Linthicum was born February 20, 1954 to James Henry and Carol Gertrude Ferguson in Charlotte, North Carolina. Suzi is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where she served in the Military Police stationed in Korea. She loved to read. One could always find her curled up with a book or kindle in hand when she wasn’t with loved ones at family gatherings. Suzi’s favorite time of year was the holiday season – especially Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. As the family sat down to eat, she was always sure to remind everyone at the table, “how glad she was that she was invited.” This holiday season, we raise a glass of milk (with ice, of course) to Ms. Suzi. 😊
Suzi passed away on June 9, 2020 in Arlington, TX. She is preceded in death by her father, James Ferguson, sister, Sandy Huddleston, mother Carol Ferguson, and husband Ron Linthicum. She is survived by her son, Ben Hecht and his girlfriend Ashley Kellogg, daughter, Cynde Hecht and her husband Leigh Sperberg; sisters, Sharon Little and Patricia Weber; brothers in law, Brent Little and Tim Greenwood; nieces, Katie Blackwell, Rachel Little, Amanda Little, and Beverly Huddleston; nephews, Jim Huddleston, Matthew Little, and Matthew Blackwell; great nephew Merrick Huddleston.
