Terry Robinson, 53, fought the good fight against ALS, and finished his race on January 7, 2020. He was born on February 27, 1966, to Charles and Mary Robinson in Dallas, TX.

Following high school, he became a truck driver. While he enjoyed driving, it allowed him to follow his true passion, Motocross Racing. He started riding as a child, and continued for as long as he could. After meeting the love of his life, Jill, she followed him from track to track. When he wasn’t racing, he enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Edwards Robinson; parents Mary Pace and Charles Robinson; brother Danny Robinson; sister in law Benann Turnley; brother in law Matthew Edwards and his wife Judy; stepson Aaron Jackson and his wife Sasha and motocross unborn grandchild, due in July; niece Alyssa Robinson; nephews Eddie Edwards, Christian Turnley and Tim Turnley; his faithful Chiweenie Allie; as well as many other family members and friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks to VNA Hospice and the members of the ALS Community that truly payed it forward and enabled Terry to spend his final days in his home through their tireless labor and donation of much needed equipment.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for consideration of a donation to the North Texas ALS Association.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, 1/9 at 1:00 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.

I met Terry through my late husband, Jody in 1987. I have so many fond and funny memories of the years we spent together as friends. He always knew how to make me laugh! RIP Terry!

Who we are when we pass or not is not always a reflection of our entire life.

I spent some of the last moments of Terrys life on this earth with him and friends and family

I knew that he told Jill early on in their relationship that he was allergic to dogs.

But what we all see here is that we change..,..,
sometimes our body changes to match the need and sometimes our body and life changes without our permission.

Allie wanted up on the bed with Terry.
I know that he knows that dog was there.
I know that dog did not want to be anywhere else but right there and I know that dog was his full-time friend till the end.
Terry was private, kind, stubborn and hardheaded...But he knew how to love 💕

So,
his memory is a message:
love those you have
and be there when you can!

Terry always made us laugh and admired his positive spirit. Will never forget the day Terry called and could hear the joy in his voice that he met the woman of his dreams and her name is Jill and couldn't wait for us to meet her. When Terry was in PA he loved the 70 degree weather now when it is 70 here we call it Terry weather. Terry positive spirit, sense of humor and love for Jill and his family will forever be in our hearts . Till we meet again we love you Terry!

Dear Jill
I’ll never forget the day you told me about Terry and you getting married. The spark in your voice from meeting him and how in love you were was an unforgettable experience from across the phone. You love for each other was felt so many miles away! I’m so grateful that you and Terry found each other and so amazed at your loving care while the two of you endured such a painful illness. I can speak for all of us in your CFC family how touching it has been to watch your love and our hearts break for you & your family.
We love you girlfriend and are so grateful to Terry for all the wonderful moments he brought to your life
Prayers and love from Kentucky!
