Deacon Thomas Earl Greer

Thomas Earl Greer was born to T. A. Greer and Ella Webb on January 22, 1945. His father T. A. And Mother Ella preceded him in death, also his sister, his brother Roy and a son Darren Greer also preceded him in death.

He was born in Jefferson, Texas. He attended elementary school there. Then moved to Fort Worth, at an early age. He was a 1962 graduate of Historic I. M. Terrell. He worked at Bill Sodd Grocery and Strick's Foods and retired from Safeway Foods in 1985.

Thomas was a die heart fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Thomas joined New Mount Carmel Baptist Church and became a Deacon, February 26, 1999, under Pastor R. A. Toliver, where he served faithfully, also he served at First Saint John Cathedral, he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board at Eastland Street Baptist Church, he attended The Church at Philadelphia until his health failed. Thomas loved the Lord.

Thomas was married to Prescilla for 35 years.

Those left to cherish his precious memories; wife, Prescilla Greer, daughters, Donna Williams, Dianne Fannin, Ronda Moses (Patrick) Rene Edwards and sons, Rodney Fannin, Herman Edwards (Cynthia), Bubba Greer and Anthony Greer; brother, James (Betty), A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren nephews and nieces and other relatives and dear friends.
