Thomas Norman Morton

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday May 31, 2013 at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

Tom graduated Arlington Heights High School in 1965 and went on to serve in the US Marine Corps Reserves. Highlights of his technology career included working for Tandy Corporation on the team that manufactured one of the first personal color computers and also worked for a number years for Nokia managing the manufacturing of a very innovative line of cellular devices. Tom enjoyed keeping up with technological advances and staying on the cutting edge. He enjoyed playing billiards for many years in his spare time and entertaining with friends and family.

He is survived by his father Norman "Lou" Morton of Ft Worth, daughter Krystal Covington and her son Hunter of Ft Worth, sons Richard N. Morton of Forney and Michael Hughes of Red Oak; also his brother Richard A. Morton of Haltom City, sister Luann Talbert of Hurst and other family and friends in loving abundance. His mother Betty Morton of Ft Worth precedes Tom in death.

The family of Thomas N. Morton wishes to thank Advance Hospice Care of America for the care, compassion shown to Tom and his family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The American Cancer Society.
