Tomika Deshawn Tedford

Tomika grew up in Flint, Michigan with siblings, Quanshelia Jones, Utehsa Taylor, Manuel Adams, David Adams, Spencer Smith, Camilla Smith, and VonRoyce Smith (Crystal). Tomika also enjoyed a sibling relationship with cousins, Sheneen Jones, Maurice Jones, the late Toyanna Jones, Charles Jones, Janet Adams, Zandreal Reddin, and the late Chequitta Savage.

Tomika would go on to find her passion in culinary arts where she would move to Texas and find her work family at USMD Hospital at Arlington. Her motto was "Family Over Everything." She enjoyed having family gatherings and spending time with her friends. She was the life of the party while enjoying learning the newest Tik Tok dances and the newest line dances.

Tomika's greatest passion came from being a wonderful wife to William Tedford and an amazing mother to her children, Manuel (Thomas), Shakira, Jameisha, Tanaya, JaTavia, Shanyia, William Jr., Darnell, Ayonna, and Steven. She also loved being a grandmother to grandsons, Ly'Darrious and J'Len, as well as granddaughters, Sereniti and Saveah.

Tomika was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maerie and Robert Jones II, Sarah and Tom Willie C Adams, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Her memory will forever live on through her family and friends. The Tedford Family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to everyone who has shown support throughout this difficult time. You all are greatly appreciated.
