Verna enjoyed shopping, music and traveling to Florida. She was a member of the Mid-Cities Christian Woman's Club.
Survivors: Her husband of 58 years, William Bunting of Watauga; daughter, Sherry Pichette and husband, Richard, of Keller; sister, Gloria Hall of Girard, Ohio; and lifelong friend, Rosie Zaubie of Girard, Ohio.
