Verna Marie Henderson

Verna Marie Henderson was born to the late Rev. Richard Jack Miller Sr and Mae Ola Margaret Miller on a warm Sunday July 11, 1954. She departed this earthly life on November 8, 2022. Her health began to fail almost 40 years ago. After living 24,957 days and even unto death she never complained. She was the Tenth child of a blended family of Thirteen. She leaves to cherish her memories Anthony Marcus Henderson (Son), Retha Bell Stewart (Sister), Richard Jack Miller Jr (Brother) Linda Sue Powell (Sister) and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She received Christ at an early age at the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church (South) under the leadership of the late Dr. G. M. Toliver (Her Brother). She was an active member of the various choirs and typed manuscripts of the sermons for the Pastor. Most recently she United with the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church (Meadowbrook) under the Leadership of Rev. Patrick L. Turner Pastor.

She received her education for the Fort Worth Independent School District and graduated from I. M Terrell in 1972. She spent the better part of her younger years living with and caring for her elderly parents.
