Vivian was an Army Private First Class who proudly served his country for six years, which included two tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired from General Motors after thirty-six years of service where he made numerous lifelong friendships.
Vivian enjoyed cheering on his Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Mavericks. After retirement, he loved spending time on Paloma Blanca Ranch tending to the cows. But what he really took the most pride in was being the best PawPaw ever; not only to his own grandchildren, but also to so many others.
Watching his grandchildren excel in sports, theater, and music gave him the motivation to continue fighting his cancer.
Vivian is preceded in death by his parents, Fidencio Sr. & Concepcion Arguijo; siblings, Paul Arguijo Sr., Frank Arguijo, Juanita Mendoza, Trinidad Arguijo, Eusevia Trevino, Fidencio Arguijo Jr., Eloy Arguijo, Eloisa Garcia; and granddaughter Vivian Reese Munguia.
Those who remain to carry on his legacy are children Edward Arguijo & wife Alma, Rachel Taylor & husband Shannon, Regina Munguia & husband Ramon; grandchildren, Gabriella & Edward Arguijo II, William & Allison Taylor, and Ryan Munguia; and sister Oralia Gonzales. Vivian also leaves behind his wife of 58 years Aurora Arguijo who supported and cared for him through it all.
