

William Van Sullivan, “Bill” “Sully” loving husband, father, grandfather and friend passed from this life on Monday, January 22, 2018 surrounded by his family. Bill was born on January 9, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas to John L. and Hazel Sullivan.
He lived in Fort Worth most of his life but also lived in California, Glen Rose, Wichita Falls and moved to Mansfield, TX in 2005 to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home Funeral Service: Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10 AM at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Bill was married for almost 64 years to his high school sweetheart, the love of his life, Judy. They have 3 children and 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Bill worked in the Beer Distributing Business from 1954 to 1999. Bill was a Mason for over 50 years. He was a member of Moslah Shrine Temple for over 46 years. Past President of the Moslah Motor Corp and member of the Royal Order of Jesters and a Fort Worth Action Ambassador. Bill was known as a man of character and compassion and he loved to joke and laugh.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors: wife, Judy Burns Sullivan; children, Guy William Sullivan (Marie) Cedar Rapids, IA, Vandee Sullivan DeLeon, Mansfield, TX, Lori Sullivan Green (Danny) Mansfield, TX; grandchildren, Megan Green (Stephen), William Daniel Green, Andrew Van DeLeon (Riley), Ashley DeLeon Bell (Wylie), William O. Sullivan and great granddaughter, Landyn Kate Bell; sister, Linda Mathis, many friends, nieces and nephews.
