

Wylma Elaine (Futrell) Hebert passed away on Nov 3, 2017 in Fort Worth, Tex. just a few days before her 97th birthday. Wylma was born in Glenmore, La., to William and Eugenia Futrell on Nov. 16, 1920. Her family moved to Pollack, La. age five and graduated from Pollack High School. Wylma attended beauty school and worked briefly as a beautician in Ft. Smith, Ark. In 1942 she married Clarence Jensen and they lived in Albuquerque, NM and Great Bend, Kan. Wylma moved to Salina, Kan. to live with Clarence’s family when he was deployed for WW II. After Clarence’s passing in 1945, Wylma moved to back to Alexandria, La. with her son Rodney (b. 1945) where she worked as a dental assistant. In 1956 Wylma married James Hebert and worked in the home in Alexandria, La., and later in Albuquerque, NM, and Fort Worth, Tex. Their son Ralph was born in 1957 in Alexandria. Jim and Wylma loved traveling together, had an affinity for architecture, and collected Native American objects. Wylma is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years James Hebert, her first husband of 3 years Clarence Jensen, her parents William and Eugenia Futrell, sister Irma Nugent, and daughter-in-law Lou Ann Jensen. She is survived by son Rodney Jensen of Pawnee, Okla., son Ralph Hebert of Arlington, Texas; grandson Craig and Tonya Jensen of Pawnee, Okla., granddaughter Jill and Travis Wagar of Bentonville, Ark., and grandson Ryan Hebert of Arlington, Texas. Wylma is also survived by four great grandchildren: Natalie Jensen, Stillwater, Okla.; Hadley Jensen, Stillwater, Okla., Anna Wagar, Stillwater, Okla.; and Wes Wagar, Bentonville, Ark. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 11 at 10:00 am at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX. The family is grateful for the staff of Brookdale Broadway Cityview where Wylma received care for many years.
