Mrs. Yong Jackson

Yong Ae was born on December 19, 1951, in Busan, South Korea. Yong grew up in an orphanage.

In the early 1970's, she meets Joe Jackson who was in the U.S. Army, and they built a life together, and remained married until his passing in, April 2025.

Yong lived in Austin, Texas before moving to Fort Worth where she would make this her home.

Yong was employed as a Supervisor in housekeeping at Harris Methodist Hospital.

Yong embraced life's adventures riding motorcycles, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and enjoying Korean drams with her grandkids. Yong's legacy of courage and love lives on in all of us.

Yong leaves to carry on her legacy; sons, James Bryd, and Darrell Bryd Jackson, godson Timothy Ross, grandchildren; Sharice Lewis, James Bryd, Jr., Zari Byrd, Kiana Byrd Jackson, Dangelo Byrd Jackson, Randy Hamilton, III, Terryl Byrd Jackson, and Lyeiss Byrd Jackson. Great grandchildren; Mariah Manning, Tyler Manning, Iela Wilson (Mae), Kah Byrd, James Byrd, III, and Sophie Lewis, and a host of other relatives and friends.
