Yvonne Barbara Calvert

Yvonne Barbara Calvert, age 60, of Alvarado Texas, passed away on February 5th, 2022 surrounded by her loving husband and children. Yvonne was born on May 4th, 1961 to Sylvester Orth and Barbara (Blessum) Kuepers in Saint Cloud, MN. She completed high school at Albany High in 1979. In 1977, she met Donald G. Roerick, and they wed in 1978, going on to have four children, Kristina, Michael, Jessica, and Amy.

Yvonne dedicated her life to being an exceptional wife, mother, and friend. Yvonne and Donald divorced in 1998 and on January 8, 1999 Yvonne married Harlin Virgil Calvert Junior, and they recently celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary. Yvonne excelled at supporting her family and friends and helping them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives.

Yvonne was a passionate artist, singer, gardener, and a great listener. She loved making crafts, hosting family events, and sharing great times together with family and friends. When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found swimming in the pool, planting flowers in her garden or tending to her pets and animals. We all loved and adored her so much and we will miss her greatly.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her father, Sylvester Orth, and her mother, Barbara Kuepers. Yvonne is survived by her stepfather Richard Kuepers, sisters Donna, JoAnn, Karen, Julie, and Jenny, her brothers Skeeter, Todd and Troy, her four children, Kristina, Michael, Jessica and Amy, four stepchildren, Trey, Katie, Melissa, and Elizabeth and twenty eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and counting....

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Laurel Land Funeral Home at 7100 Crowley Rd., Fort Worth TX, 76134. There will be a viewing on Saturday February 12, 2022 from 5-8 pm. Funeral Service Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Laurel Land.
