Charlotte A Foster

She was 97 and the daughter of the late Charles S. and Adeline E. (Cook) Loring. Mrs. Foster was born July 3, 1918 in Livermore, Maine and as a small child moved with her family to Framingham. She was employed for over 43 years with the former New England Telephone and Telegraph Company and retired as Assistant to the Manager. Church was important to her and over many years Mrs. Foster was associated with Park Street Baptist Church and First Baptist Church, both in Framingham, and the Holliston Baptist Church.

She leaves her son and daughter in law, Walter M. and Cynthia Foster of Southborough and nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her siblings, Virginia and Edward Loring.

Mrs. Foster’s family wish to express their gratitude and respect for the loving care extended to Charlotte over the many months she resided at Countryside Nursing Home in Framingham.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 11, at 11:00 am at MetroWest Funeral and Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Ave., Framingham. The Reverend Jason Rutherford, Pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Interment will be at Southborough Rural Cemetery.
