Linda Lee Henderson, born October 28’th, 1942 in Presque Isle, ME, went to be with God on June 3, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Her parents, George and Eda (Goding) Henderson had ten children. Only one of Linda’s siblings survives – Gertrude (Trudy) Blier of Springfield, OR. Linda leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Maxine Henderson.
Linda enjoyed traveling, the theater, museums, reading and writing, classic country music (an homage to “the county”), all things Irish, a rousing political discussion, talks about God and the Bible with her minister Greg Morisse, and spending time with loved ones. Her working life was mostly spent caring for others, first as a live-in “nanny,” and later as a CNA and Activities Director with the elderly. She was once a proofreader for the Middlesex News.
Linda wanted to thank all of her cherished friends and family, who helped her and prayed for her. Her first request is for memorial donations to be given to Plymouth Church, United Church of Christ in Framingham or to do a random act of kindness. “Love one another as I have loved you. Forgive those who harm you. Trust in the Lord” Love is love is love.
There will be no services at this time.
