She was the wife of Eugene Koed of Framingham. She was born in Newton, daughter of the late Clayton and Florence (Luther) Henderson.
She was a graduate of Newton High School, class of 1944, and a graduate of Chamberlain School of retailing. She worked at Jay’s Inc. before her marriage and she and her husband ran Sally Ann Food Shop in Concord for many years. Upon retiring she worked for Hebert Candies for 13 years as a supervisor. She was a volunteer in the gift shop at Newton Wellesley Hospital for 37 years.
Mrs. Koed is survived by her children, Linda Koed of Framingham, Richard “Chip” Koed and his wife Donna of Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandchildren, Brad and Kristen Koed of New York; former daughter-in-law, Diane Koed of Tyngsboro.
Funeral services and interment at Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham will be private.
