Thomas Daniel Speranza

A lifelong resident of Framingham, he was the son of the late Marie (McGrath) Ephlin and Thomas J. Speranza. Tom graduated from Framingham North High School class of 1972 and received a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University. Tom worked for the town of Framingham prior to working in the accounting field for many years as well as working for many local businesses. Most recently, he enjoyed driving for Tommy’s Taxi. Tom took great pride in his family, loved playing Keno, and was a devoted New England Patriots fan.

He is survived by his four children: Katie Brown, and her husband Geoff, of Northbridge, MA; Laura Speranza of Alexandria, VA; T.J. Speranza of Boston, MA; Kerri Speranza, and her fiancé Rich Preservati, of Norwood, MA; and his cherished grandson, Nicholas Brown. He also leaves behind his four siblings Richard, Gail, Karen, and Joe. Tom will be missed by many, leaving behind many friends in the Framingham area.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 10:00-11:00AM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services at 318 Union St., Framingham. Family and friends are also invited to attend a memorial service beginning at 11:00AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is kindly asking for donations to be made to Baypath Elder Services.
