Gail DeJean

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Franklin Main Street Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 12 years, Michael DeJean; two sons, Irving Lumpkin, Jr. of Franklin, Louisiana and Emile Joseph of Jennings, Louisiana; one daughter, Precious Joseph of Franklin, Louisiana; six siblings, James Fine, Joseph (Joyce) Fine, Michael (Bobbie) Fine, Pastor Ricky (Beverly) Smith, Larry Smith, Debra Fine Smith, and Anthony (Monique) Smith, all of Franklin, Louisiana; two goddaughters, Jalissa Fine of Franklin, Louisiana, and Clarise Fine of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary Smith and Larry Smith; her daughter, Chiquita Lumpkin; her grandsons, Irving Lumpkin III, Earl-Myn Lumpkin; great great grandson, Zy'Meir Butler.
