He enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin in VT, and at the farm they built in New York State, which they later made their permanent home. Harvey and Joan traveled extensively exploring the country coast to coast. They visited many states, enjoying the National Parks and the Casinos the most.

His hobbies included softball, hunting and fishing, gardening, wine making, and playing cards. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed the outdoors.

He was a volunteer Constable and Fireman in Redding Ct. He was also a member of the Georgetown CT Lions Club and The USS Coral Sea CVA-43 Association. After moving to New York State he became a member of the Elks Lodge in Sidney NY. He was a lifelong member of the NRA.

Lehn of Sharon CT, Deborah M (Lehn) Helming and husband Barry of Oxford CT, and son Michael Lehn of New Milford CT. Truly one of the Great Ones.
I'll always remember your Dad with a smile in his face and quick to laugh.
Stopping by on Mondays, and he and my Dad talking about each others gardens...My family and I are blessed to have had your Dad, and your family, in our lives for so many years.
