

Linda was born March 9, 1943 in Oneonta, the daughter of Ben and Evelyn (Smith) Geertgens.
Linda was a talented artist who enjoyed crochet, painting and crafts.
In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing, camping, and snowmobiling. She very much enjoyed dancing at Babcock's on the weekends with her life love, Chico.
In her later years, she enjoyed her retirement in Puerto Rico with Chico.
She was a loving mother to her only child, Clay.
Linda is survived by her son, Clay (Sonnet) Constable, of Sidney Center; grandsons, Lincoln and Leland Constable, of Sidney Center; her mother, Evelyn Geertgens, of Franklin; a sister, Barbara Cox, of New Port Richey, FL; her loving companion for the past 33 years, Cecillio "Chico" Torres; and several nieces.
She was predeceased by her father, Ben Geertgens.
A graveside memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2 pm in Ouleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin.
The family will be in attendance at a memorial reception for Linda at the Ouleout Valley VFW Post in Franklin, immediately following the service.
