She was born in Merrickville on May 2, 1928 to Lewis and Ruthann Wormuth.
She attended Franklin Central School and married her high school sweetheart Clifford Whitbeck on June 18,1945.
Rollamarie was a homemaker ,bookkeeper, skilled plumber, and an avid gardener. She was involved in Scouting for many years and loved participating in local events especially around the holidays.
Rollamarie is survived by her children Judith (Richard) Feher, Kathy (John) Campbell,and
Jonathan (Colleen Bonker) Whitbeck; and 5 grandchildren John (Teresa) Campbell Jr., Matthew (Susan) Campbell; Jason (Tammy Armitage) Worden, Betsy Whitbeck, and Mathew (Rachael) Whitbeck; and 8 great grandchildren Megan and Kaitlyn Worden; Collin, Kayla, and Marissa Campbell; Tula Whitbeck; Birch, Ty, and Colton Whitbeck; and several nieces and nephews.
Rolla is lovingly remembered as a devoted wife,parent and grandparent. She is known as Gramma Great to her Great Grandchildren.
She also leaves a close family friend, Scott Brady..
She is predeceased by her husband Clifford and her brothers and sisters: Mitchell, Austin, Lewis Jr, Richard, Theresa, Shirley, and Clara.
A social time will be held in Rollamarie's honor on Sunday, June 11,2023 from:12:30 to 1:30 with a short memorial service to follow, at the Franklin Railroad and Community Museum, 572 Main St, Franklin, (behind Wayne bank). The Museum was special to her and fitting that our final good byes to her will be there.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rolla's memory may be made to the Franklin Railroad Museum.
