Alice D. Hurst, age 79, of Franklin, Ohio, died Friday June 24, 2016 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on April 24, 1937 to John and Effie (Rose) Tye. She was preceded in death by her father, John "Monk" Tye, mother, Effie Tye, husband, John Hurst, and 2 sisters. Alice is survived by her three daughters, Judy Hurst, Linda Roach, Cindy Hurst; son, Johnny Hurst; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 7 sisters. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Thursday June 30, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
