Saturday September 11, 2021 at his residence. Tony was born in Bristol,PA
on July 20, 1967 to the late Miris Ante and Rita (Bassi) Bacich.
Tony served four years in the U.S. Navy and was employed in finance and banking for many years with First Financial Bank in Springboro. Tony is survived by his wife of 22 years, Tammy (Cupp) Bacich; his two
sons, Zachary Bacich, Alec Tumblison; his two sisters, Linda (Frank) Kile,
Debbie (Len) Lori.
Tony was a man of many hobbies-he loved golf and football, found an odd comfort in doing laundry, and in his last days he chose a fantasy football team with the best projected odds in the league. But of these hobbies, none exceeded his general love of people, and he was incredibly well loved in return. Tony was a friend to everyone. He was generous with his hugs and high fives whenever he stepped into a familiar place. His smile warmed the room. Dubbed “Uncle Tony” by his beloved friends, his dynamic personality, quick sense of humor, and unwavering drive to stick up for those he cared for made him a natural leader.
But of course, at Tony’s core was his family, who he loved boundlessly. Tony came as a welcome surprise when his two sisters, Linda and Debbie, were well into their teens; he was always the baby of the family. He was adored by his big sisters and parents alike. The warmth they granted him as he grew up was a warmth he later reciprocated to others. None felt this more strongly than his wife, Tammy, and two sons, Zac and Alec. Tony was an active and personable father, and doting husband. Tammy was the center of his life to the very end, and his children a constant source of pride. As Tony bravely battled cancer, each moment he fought for was a gift to his family. His strength in the face of that adversity brought over four more years of stories and warm memories. His loved ones will cherish this gift forever. As he lives on in our memories, his unforgettable personality and love will carry on- like a ripple in still water.
