Barry Stephen Smallwood, age 55, of Middletown, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 16, 1957 in Middletown, the son of Charles Smallwood and June Thomas Smallwood. Barry worked 17 years at Meijer's Gas Station. He is survived by his mother, June Jackson of Middletown; two brothers, Larry wife, Holly Smallwood of Georgia, Jim wife, Holly Jackson of Middletown; one niece, Stephanie Dickerson; and four nephews, Scott, Sam, Spencer, and Seth Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Smallwood; stepfather, Jim Jackson; brother, Timothy Smallwood; sister, Charlene Jackson; and grandparents, Otis and Artie Thomas and Roy and Bessie Smallwood. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Ray Phillips officiating. Visitation will be 6-8:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
