Bennie Mae Powell 76, of Franklin died Friday April 27, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital. A native of Thornhill, Tn she was the daughter of Clay and Emma Lee (Young) Hayes. Bennie worked at Aeronca for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Vester, a daughter, Lisa M. Rasmussen, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 10:00 am at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin, with Pastor Scott Young officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at www.anderson-fh.com.
