Bernice Marie Metcalf

Bernice Marie Metcalf, age 76, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 4, 1948, the daughter of the late Jim and Lillie May (King) Davis. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Lorenza, whom she married on December 4, 1964 and he passed away on March 8, 2019, her grandson, Dustin William Metcalf, a sister, Aineta Walters and a brother, James Davis.

Bernice is survived by her 3 children, James (Shannon) Metcalf, Jerry Metcalf and Angela Metcalf; a brother, Demme Davis; a sister, Barbara Cole; grandchildren, Tarah Rawlins, Stephanie Poteet, Jerry "JR" Metcalf, Lorenza Metcalf, Tuesday Sperry, Mirandia Sperry and Taylor Sperry. She is also survived by a great-grandson, Levi Rawlins.

Bernice retired from the Sycamore Country Club after 34 years of dedicated service and was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin with Pastor Jamie Cagg officiating. Interment will follow in Woodhill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Tuesday.
