Betty J. Wells

Betty retired from Monsanto Labs after 32 years. She was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother who cherished time with her family. She enjoyed traveling in her younger years and ballroom dancing later in life. Betty enjoyed exercising, watching QVC and HSN, baking and preparing for the holidays. Betty will be dearly missed by her family who will cherish her memory. Betty's family would like to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff and staff at Carlisle Manor for the care given to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ival, James, Hiawatha and Cecil Green. Betty will be missed by her devoted son, Greg (Katy) Wells; grandson, Gabriel Wells; granddaughter, Madison Wells; great-grandson, Elliot Stewart; brother, Tarncey Green; many nieces and nephews, and life-long friend, Charlene Sparks.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Dan Flory, officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
