Billy Haddix

Haddix, Billy Bill R, age 74, of Sanford, FL, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Bill was born December 11, 1937 in Jackson, KY to Leck and Dorothy Haddix. On February 23, 1957, he married Willa Maye Maye Tolson in Middletown, OH. Following Maye's passing in September 2004, he married Janna Cobb March 9, 2007 in Valdosta, GA. Bill retired from Armco Steel Corporation after 37 years as a millwright. He relocated to Central Florida where he was a maintenance manager for UPS Longwood Customer Center until retiring a second time. Bill grew up and raised his family in Middletown, OH retiring to Lake Mary, FL and settling in Sanford, FL. He was a Christian and spent much of his lifetime devoted to his church as a Deacon. In addition to his wife Janna, Bill is survived by his children: Anthony Debra Haddix, Orlando, FL; Deanna Boicourt, DeBary, FL; and Michael Elaine Haddix West Chester, OH; grandchildren: Brittany, Mechali and Jonathan Boicourt; siblings: Opal Hogg, James Haddix, and Oma Clemmons. He is preceded in death by wife Willa Maye Haddix, father Leck Haddix, mother Dorothy Haddix and brother Lawrence Haddix. Visitation will be held 10AM, Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Breitenbach McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, Middletown, OH with services at 12 Noon. Following services, Bill will be laid to rest at North Monroe Cemetery.
