OBITUARY

It is with heavy hearts that we say Brian Khang Tri Cao, 28,

passed away on October 29, 2024.

Brian graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2020 as a

civil engineer and went on to pursue his Professional Engineer

license. Since then, he has been a committed member of the

Ohio Department of Transportation as a Senior Transportation

Engineer. He took pride in his work and was always eager to

educate others on the intricacies of infrastructure that allowed

us to get from one point of our lives to another every day.

Brian had one of the kindest souls on the earth. He always had a

smile on his face that showed off his dimple and made everyone

else smile in turn. Always the first to lend a helping hand, he was

considerate of others and made sure everyone was included. You

knew you could always rely on him to be a listening ear and a

caring friend. In his free time, he enjoyed life’s simple pleasures

such as photography, pickleball, and spending time with family

and friends. He also loved playing with his good girl, a labrador

named Zoey.

Left to cherish Brian’s memory are his parents, Thomas and

Ashley, and his older brother, Brandon. As well as his many

aunts, uncles, and cousins who considered him to be their own

brother. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten, by all

who knew him and were inspired by him.
