
Burnas Vaughn, age 86, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. Burnas was born in Loveland, Ohio on February 7, 1930 to the late Leonard and Bonnie Vaughn.
Burnas served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Anchor Fabricators after 29 years. He was a member of the Roberts Road Pentecostal Church. Burnas loved to be active. He made birdhouses, collected and roasted walnuts and raised his garden. He adored his wife, Cathrine and will be dearly missed by her and all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Esmer, Melvin, J.C. and Billy Ray and sister, Betty Jean Vaughn. Burnas will be missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Cathrine Vaughn; sister, Martha Glenn, brothers, Henry Vaughn, Dillard (Betty) Vaughn and Leonard Vaughn, Jr.; special daughter, Cathy (Tim) Noble; honorary grandchildren, Charity, Ben, Rachel and Rebekah; many nieces, nephews and special family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Roberts Drive Pentecostal Church, 9569 Roberts Drive Franklin, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday at the church with Pastors Jimmy Jewell and Tim Noble, officiating. Burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
