On behalf of the descendants of Martin C Rose, I would like to extend my sympathy to the family of Calvin Rose. My grandfather, Martin Rose, was Calvin's uncle.

I have known Calvin for so many years working at Parkview Randallia Hospital Guest Services. Calvin was one of the many long time volunteers at Parkview and I truly admired him for his dedication and commitment.  

We worked with him at volunteer office at Parkview hospital.  For over 10 years.  Our prayers go to you and family.

In about 1958, when I was in the 7th grade, my family and I visited Trinity English Lutheran Church. My brother and I attended Sunday School Classes, while our parents attended worship services. Mr. Rose was my teacher in Sunday School. When we gathered for lunch, our family would discuss the pros and cons of our experiences. This is what we did for several weeks, attending different downtown churches. My father was changing jobs, so we would have Sundays together; hence, joining a church was the next step for our family,  My vote was for Trinity English Lutheran Church as I liked Mr. Rose for my teacher and there were several classmates there from Harrison Hill School, My parents liked Dr. Krauss and Pastor Sjauken. Much later, I served at Trinity as an Associate Pastor at Trinity English for 22 years, again seeing Mr. Rose! Later, I was the Senior Pastor at Messiah Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. I retired almost 7 years ago. I just read about your Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather's death. My prayers and thoughts are with you! It was a pleasure knowing him throughout the years!
