Carolyn Ann Scott

Carolyn Ann Scott, age 56, of Carlisle, Ohio. God quietly called Carolyn home on Friday February 21, 2025, from the Atrium of Middletown Hospital. She was born on May 24, 1968 in Kettering, Ohio to Geneva Ann (Brooks) Parsons and the late Larry Parsons.

Carolyn was a kind and faithful woman who devoted her time to making a loving home for her family. Her family meant everything to her and the love for her family was extraordinary. Carolyn's warmth and humor were infectious, her light hearted nature and her desire to bring joy to those around her, created an atmosphere of happiness that will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Scott; son, Tyler Budde; daughter, Jessica (Brooklee) Frazee; and grandson, Nash; stepsons, Mason and Ryland Scott; and stepdaughter, Rayne Hisle. Carolyn is also survived by her sister, Teresa (Eric) Herman of Troy, Ohio; brother Larry (Rhonda) Parsons of Franklin, Ohio; father-in-law Larry Scott; and brother-in-law, Mark Scott; Loving nephews and nieces, Christy Fielding, Tanner Herman, Logan Scott, Taylor Mills, Caitlyn Parsons, Hannah Scott, and many dear friends. She also had numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Parsons, and mother-in-law Frances Scott.

Carolyn was in the graduating class of 1986 from Franklin High School in Franklin, Ohio. She was also a graduate of Miami University where she received her Associates Degree. She worked for Kettering Schools for thirty years in various capacities.

She will be greatly missed by many. Rest easy. Your life was a blessing, your memory is a treasure.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 28, 2025 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Springboro Cemetery.
