Charles David Baker

Baker, Charles David, "Dave", went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, April 26, 2015. David was born on Nov 6, 1949 in Laurel Co, KY. He leaves behind his loving & devoted wife, Delana, his sons Kevin (Mickey Hughes) & Travis (Kim) Baker. David was blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren, Clayton, Cameron, Abi & Clara, that will miss their wonderful and loving "Papaw". David’s surviving siblings are brothers John, Carl & Everett Baker; & sisters Loraine Boggs and Rhoda Ralston & their spouses; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews & extended family. Meeting David in glory yesterday was his father & mother, Charles & Hariette Baker; siblings, Audrey, Alburn, James, Carson, Raymond, Louise & Hazel; his father-in-law, Jake Henry Foust. David was retired from GM after 30 years of service. He was an active member & Past President of The Christian Motorcycle Club, Warriors for Christ Chapter 598 in Franklin & a member of Eastern Star Lodge 55 in Franklin. David was an avid motorcycle rider, fisherman & HAM operator. David was a long time member of Vineyard Community Church, 4900 St. Rt. 123, Franklin, & was leader of a weekly Home Church Group until the time of his illness. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 5-7pm at Vineyard Community Church, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests tax deductible donations to David Baker Memorial Fund - checks payable and sent to "Vineyard Community Church". All funds will benefit Delana.
