Charles "Ray" Welch, age 75, of Carlisle, Ohio, died Thursday August 20, 2015 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Frenchburg, Kentucky on January 31, 1940 to Ed and Hazel Welch. He was employed with Miami Paper Company and has been retired for many years. Ray was a member of Eastern Star Lodge #55 F.&A.M. in Franklin, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Hazel. Charles is survived by his wife of 49 years Beulah (Carpenter) Welch; four sons, James Welch, Jerry Welch, David Pennington, Scott Welch; daughter, Phyllis (Roger) Clark; sister, Sue (Bud) Shouse; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Monday August 24, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Reverend Tony McKiddy officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
