Charlie "Bud" Porter, age 79, of Trenton, went home to be with the Lord Friday March 3, 2017 at home. He was born in Franklin Furnace, Ohio on March 17, 1937 to Glenn and Mary (Brown) Porter. He served in the Army during the Korean War, was employed with AK Steel for 41 years until his retirement. He loved his family, golfing and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings. Charlie is survived by his wife, Janet, three daughters, Kellie (Chris) Blackburn, Debbie (Raymond) Shrout, and Kim Howard; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister, Nellie Thompson. Funeral services are 10:00 am Wednesday March 8, 2017 at the Breitenbach-Anderson Funeral Home 517 S. Sutphin Street Middletown with Pastor Gary Ashley officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment in Butler County Memorial Park with Military Honors.
