OBITUARY

Christopher Jordan Monde

17 October, 1990 – 10 February, 2026
IN THE CARE OF

Anderson Funeral Home

Christopher Jordan Monde, 35, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.

Born on October 17, 1990, to Donald Monde Jr and Heather Giffin, Jordan grew into a man defined by his work ethic, his loyalty, and—above all—his love for his family.

Jordan was a hardworking and dedicated employee of Walther EMC for more than 14 years. His perseverance and commitment led to well-earned promotions and the respect of his colleagues. Never one to settle, he was attending Sinclair College to continue building a better future for his family. He believed in showing up, putting in the effort, and doing the job right—values he carried into every part of his life.

But if you asked him, his most important title wasn’t employee or student. It was Dad.

Jordan was a fun-loving father to his children—Braylon, Carson, Mason, and Savannah—who he proudly called his “big dawgs” or his “homies.” He was the kind of dad who didn’t just watch from the sidelines; he was in it—outside playing, laughing, teaching, and making memories. Recently, he had started taking his kids to chess meets, a game they loved to play together. Enjoying both the strategy and the chance to remind them who the real champion was (at least for now). His kids will miss playing 2v2 backyard football with their dad. Jordan always encouraged his kids to never give up, a legacy they will continue.

He was a wonderful and devoted husband to his loving wife, Brittney Monde. A true provider, his desire was to ensure Brittney could remain at home to raise their children. Even when she offered to work to share the financial load, he remained committed to the security and peace of mind he felt knowing his family was cared for by her constant presence. Their life together was defined by the way they parented as a team and the laughter that filled their home. His selfless dedication to his family’s stability was the quiet engine of their home, and it allowed their partnership to flourish as both best friends and a unified parenting team. He will be deeply missed for the joyful everyday moments they shared—like pointing out every “Scoob” they saw.

Jordan loved sports—especially football—and was a loyal Detroit Lions fan. He was a respected commissioner of several popular fantasy football leagues. He taught his boys everything he knew about football from players, to teams, to how to run routes.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Giffin; and his beloved dog, Benji—who we’re certain greeted him first.

Jordan leaves behind his wife, Brittney; his children, Braylon, Carson, Mason, and Savannah; his mother, Heather Giffin; his father, Donald Monde Jr; his sister, Kelsie Monde; his brother, Donald “DJ” Monde; his Granny, Henrietta Francia; his grandmother, Linda Mcknight; his extended family at Walther EMC; his friend group affectionately called “The Crew”; and many other family members and friends who will miss his laughter, his strength, and the steady presence he brought into their lives.

Jordan lived only 35 years, but he packed those years with purpose—working hard, loving deeply, teaching others, and showing up for the people who mattered most. His legacy lives on in the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the “homies” he was so proud to call his own.

A private visitation will be held at the family's discretion.
