

Dave Baker, age 78, Dayton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. David was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 28, 1937, the eldest son to the late Ralph and Madalene Baker.
Dave was employed with both Delphi and ARMCO, retiring in 1997. He attended the Primitive Baptist Church in Franklin. Dave was always up for a good debate, especially involving politics, and always liked to get the last word. Dave moved to Costa Rica for a few years and he and Sue enjoyed traveling and socializing with friends. Dave was a hard worker and provider for his family and will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Baker-Rudd and former wife of 37 years, Valerie Baker. Dave will be missed by his soul mate, Susan M. Jiles, sons, Brian (Dolores) Baker, Tom Baker, Marty Baker, Brad Baker, Rafe (Michelle) Baker; step-daughter, Kim (Tom) Radominiski; step-son, Alex Silva; sister, Charolotte Baker; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and his faithful dog Jenny Lynn.
Funeral services are Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street Franklin,Ohio with Elder Eddie K. Garrett, officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at the funeral home.
