Dayton Vanderpool, age 87, of Carlisle, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Campton, Kentucky on July 5, 1930 to the late James and Ethel (Hollon) Vanderpool.
He was employed with Simpson Paper Company from which he retired. He was known for his honest and friendly personality, and enjoyed yard work and gardening in his spare time.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Rowena May.
Dayton is survived by his wife of 55 years Irene Vanderpool; son, Philip Vanderpool; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
