Preceded in death by his step father, Beryl Williams; grandson, Charles Yates; brother, James "Jim" Yates.
Survived by his son, Charles Raymond Yates; sister, Carolyn (Paul) Bruns; grandson, Dustin Michael Yates; two brothers, Gerald (Kathy) Yates, Bill (Sunny Hee) Yates; two half sisters, Jackie Myers, Margie (Barry) McNabb; step sister, Deloris Lewis and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Kenneth Brewer officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service from 10:00 am-12:00 pm also at the funeral home. Graveside Service will be at 2:30pm in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, Ohio with Pastor Robert Newkirk officiating.
