Donna Katherine Kapp, 63, passed away unexpectedly at home in Franklin, Ohio. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she is survived by her three children – son Nicholas Hill and wife Misty, granddaughters Ashley, Abigail, Amelia, Alisha, and Averial; son Derrick Hill and wife Dana, granddaughter Symphony; and daughter Brittany Pratt and husband Zach, granddaughter Alexis and grandson Colton. She is survived by her six siblings Mark, Susan Hill, Justin, John II, Julia Lucente, and Linda. Donna loved spending time with her family, enjoyed cooking and baking, and shopping for antiques. She loved to talk about her Hungarian and Lithuanian roots with the family. Donna thoroughly enjoyed attending cultural events such as festivals, plays, concerts, dances and the symphony. Donna also loved to travel and lived close to Myrtle Beach in the past 12 years. Donna moved back to the Dayton area six months ago and enjoyed attending many of the local cultural events with family during this time.
Donna provided her niece Cassie Lucente with a couple of her favorite Bible verses:
I Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
I Corinthians 13:13 (NIV) And now these three remain; faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
