Dora D. Smith, age 99, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born February 12, 1917 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Florence (Whitt) Davis.
Dora worked as a Rosie riveter at Wright Aeronautical during World War II, and as a hairdresser at her own salon.
She is preceded in death by her; husband, Alton Smith; father, John Floyd Davis and mother, Florence Eveline Davis.
Dora is survived by her sister, Margaret (husband, Wil) Bobbin, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH with Wilburn Bobbin officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11:00 am on Friday at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
